Welcome. The energy system that powers our daily lives is in the middle of a generational transition. Fast-scaling electrification is mixing with legacy fossil-fuel assets in order to feed a system that must deliver cheap, clean and secure energy.
My name is Hjörtur Páll Hjartar. I have spent nearly a decade working in energy and infrastructure. I made this site to share some of the work I've done unpacking the complexities of that transition, using AI tools to analyse a curated dataset.
